Referral Programme

Referral Terms 

  1. Rugged Data’s referral scheme is open to all current and previous users of Rugged Data’s subscriptions, services and other individuals unless specified otherwise in these terms.
  2. Employee’s and subcontractors of Rugged Data shall be entitled to participate in the referral scheme unless their role for Rugged Data is a sales-based role.
  3. Resellers and distributors (including any employees or subcontractors of resellers and distributors) of Rugged Data are not eligible to take part in the scheme.

To constitute an eligible referral, the referred business must:

  • Provide the referrer’s name and email address at the time they sign up;
  • Enter into a contract for a paid Rugged Data subscription;
  • Remain in contract for the subscription for a minimum of 3 months and pay all associated fees to Rugged Data.

A referral will not be eligible if:

  • The referred business is already in conversation with Rugged Data prior to the
  • If an existing client refers their own company or a franchisee;
  • The referrer’s details are not provided at the outset of discussions between the referred business and Rugged Data;
  • The referred business opts for a free subscription. 
  • The referred businesses does not become a client of Rugged Data within 12 months on the start of discussions between the referred business and Rugged Data.
  • The referrer will receive a £100 Amazon.co.uk voucher per eligible referral (“Reward”).
  • Any terms imposed in connection with the Reward are outside of Rugged Data’s control. 
  • There is no limit to the number of Rewards that a referrer can receive. 
  • The Reward will be issued within 60 days of the referral being payable to the referrer in accordance with paragraph 4. 
  • There is no cash or other alternative to the Reward. 
  • Rugged Data reserves the right to withdraw or alter the referral scheme, change the value of the Reward or replace the Reward with an alternative, subject to availability.
  • Rugged Data shall be free to choose whether or not to enter into a contract with the referred business. 
  • The referral scheme is available to UK residents only.
  • Any rewards from this scheme should be declared in your annual tax return or declared as a benefit in kind (where applicable).
  • In the event of any disputes regarding any referral, including whether or not a referral is eligible, and a referrer is entitled to a Reward, the decision of Rugged Data is final.
